Addressing an Application Denial

Unfortunately, sometimes applications are denied. Sometimes the board requests additional supporting evidence that you have met licensing requirements prior to making a formal decision on the application.

Reasons for Georgia board license denials can range from careless mistakes on the LPC application and to simply not meeting requirements to the board not accepting a private practice work setting. Some are denied due to misrepresentation and even fraud.

My LPC was denied? Contact me. I can evaluate the application denial and assist you in correcting the problem and reduce the changes of another denial.

Practice In Other States Or Obtaining a Georgia LPC License

1) Much of my consultation is providing licensees tools to deal with the ethics of interstate practice. Every person’s situation is unique.

2) Others are licensed but want to obtain a Georgia license as well. There are generally two options for being issued a Georgia LPC license from out-of-state- licensure by endorsement and licensure by exam or exam waiver.

Navigating these options is often a complicated task with many moving parts. Together we will evaluate your licensing materials including your original state application, transcripts and other documents if necessary and determine the best course of action.
